Lights work flawless, components are of very high quality. Be careful not to damage any wires when reinstalling the seat bolts. Plenty of room to make all the connections under the seat. Rear light leads will need to slide in under the tank and connect all fitting behind the tank (hence the need to remove the rear tank bolts- lift up a little on the tank to slide the leads up). Take the time to route the OEM harness back to the main harness then run up inside the frame and next to the tank. Wire harness routing instruction is vague and could lead to the routing being too close the the chain or exhaust if not paying attention. Cannot be used with the OEM side bag mount without modifying the framework of the mount, cutting/welding is required and one fastening support will be lost. The staff at NRC jumped on it to make it 100%.
Just completed the install after a very minor issue with the product when it arrived. Highly recommended for all other FTR owners, this will not disappoint.ġ of 1 people found the following review helpful: I'm not sure about the older models but on my 2022 standard FTR the bolts that hold on the license plate light needed to have the allen heads on the inside and nuts facing out or it absolutely will not fit correctly. The install instructions were sufficient and for the front + rear replacement it only took about 2 hours. The OEM rear fender on the FTR kills the profile, and if you live in a non-draconian state that doesn't punish you for tucking your plate to a more ergonomic location then this here is a good looking and simple solution. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful:
